|desc=Carkarasses are one of the only type of flying creatures, along with Pterosaurs and Megarases.  They are seldom seen in the world of the living, but many people coming back from the [[Death Realm]] claim to have seen some flying around. Not much is known about them; scientists know only that they live in the Death Realm and that they are reptiles capable of hovering, gliding and low flight.  Coming across one is seen as a bad omen.
