Language Thoughts

Anybody still on this project? I've been doing a little thinking about the Nolthrir language, so I'm willing to take over if there's a void, or help out if someone's working on it.

What I'd like to see is an emphasis on the aquatic nature of the Nolthrir, and a focus on covering terminology that would be most useful to players in regular RP. For example: specific terms for Nolthrir raised in the Lake vs. on the levels above it. I've noticed many players have their Nolthrir characters hail from the Lake and undergo a little culture shock when they arrive in Hydlaa (which is logical!), and it would be nice if they could explain it by saying "I'm a [Nolthrir term for Lake dweller]". - Ruya

Scripture

Are you still working on this project? If yes, some time ago I invented a scripture, and as the Nolthrir don't have an own scripture yet, I thought you could perhaps use it? Greetings, Myriel

I can take over this language

I have some experience in linguistics and would be happy to continue working on this language Elathas 21:53, 10 October 2007 (EDT)

I have, and will continue to remove all the elvish phrases stolen from The Grey Company. http://web.archive.org/web/20020225170107/www.grey-company.org/Language/ If you want to use the elvish that is fine, but do not take it and claim it as your own "Nolthrir" phrases.

Compass Directions

They don't exist in Ylkium, so there should be nowords. All references o them (Except for East which is a name) are ooc.

No. Actually there is a quest for Raithen where Stevald says that the Dark Circle was noticed in WESTERN caves.--Grigori 12:24, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Check the forums, that is a bug. --Bguy 12:42, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Time

The days, months, and possibly equinoxes/solstices are not part of PS. I am not sure about days in the week, but you can figure out the months on this site. --Bguy 12:30, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Removal of the Xacha Race

As of 2011.11.01, the Xacha Race has been removed entirely from game-lore. Whilst you may think this doesn't effect you guys, I notice that you have a word for 'xacha'. Rather than delete it, I thought I'd let you guys aware, so you can remove/repurpose it yourselves. -Ethryn 00:54, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
