If someone offers you a hand, do you take it literally?

When you walk past a group, do they make snide remarks and start pulling out their weapons.

Have you ever woken up in an unfamiliar location with someone else's blood on you, and couldn't remember why?

If you find following the laws of society confusing or boring, and are labelled a misfit, a freak, obnoxious, or a "stinking pile of trepor dung", then you are in luck: The Elite Reign is recruiting. Come join the guild that will have everyone talking, where we will live up to the reputation that has been foisted upon us by the tired mediocrity of the majority.

Welcome to the new culture, where odditiy is an obligation and normalcy is not allowed. Where you will have fun, AND probably die trying. Whether you are a fighter, a (shady) tradesman, a (mis)adventurer, or an entertainer (even if you are the only one to find things entertaining), there's room for every weirdo in Yliakum.

We're the guild that puts the basement in debasement, the own in clowning around, and the rude in shrewd. You may not like us, but you are going to LOVE us.

After a week's probationary period to ensure your insanity, you are made a full member, and can begin recruiting other dorks right away. Guild advancement follows one of four tracks, and to appease flibbertigibbets, you can switch tracks at any time with no penalty.

The Elite Reign are loyal and helpful to its members, 'cause we ain't got no one else.

Chat up an Elite Reign member today for the [especially OOC] details.

Structure

The Ranks

These are subject to change. Current members are 'grandfathered' into their current rank.

Recruit

A new member is a recruit for one week. During that time he/she should join our forums, and log into their MyPlane account and open the permissions so that the rest of the guild can see their levels.

Time Out

Time Out is for those "bad" players that need a break. This is OOC bad, IC bad is good. It's good to be bad.

Legionnaire

From Legionnaire, to increase your guild level further, you need to complete one of the requirements in any of the four tracks (see below). These tracks are designed with the general types of players in mind, and one should suit you, though you are free to switch tracks with no penalty, so long as you complete the requirements for the next rank in the new track.

The Tracks

These are the requirements for advancement in each track. A member can not increase more than one guild level a week.

The Fighter

...taking Yliakum's unwashed masses to the cleaners.

4. Level 10 in at least two abilities, level 100 in one stat.

5. Level 20 in at least two abilities, level 200 in one stat.

6. Level 50 in at least two abilities, level 400 in one stat.

7. Level 100 in at least two abilities, level 400 in three stats.

8. Level 200 in at least two abilities, level 400 in all stats.

The Quester

...loving a good quest, even if it's yet another mysterious parcel delivery (which inevitably goes awry).

4. Complete four quests and detail them on our forums. This includes who gives the quest, all of the dialog, the correct responses and the method to complete them as well as the prerequisites before the quest will be offered.

5. Complete an additional ten quests and detail them.

6. 20 detailed quests, or a major quest chain. Example quest chains are: how to obtain a rivnak (gain winch access), the quests for a particular magic way.

7. 40 more quests, or two more quest chains. Can also provide information that used to be available on nemesisr.us: maps, magical glyphs, the spells they create, the quests needed to get the spells and the spell ranks.

8. 80 more quests, or several quest chains. Providing an efficient way to complete the quests without extra running around should also be promoted.

The Tradesman

...dealing in back-ally business, and bringing income to the guild.

4. Level 10 in a trade (mining, smithing, cooking, fishing, etc.)

5. Level 20 in a trade.

6. Level 50 in a trade.

7. Level 100 in a trade.

8. Level 200 in a trade.

The Entertainer

...bringing pop to the pathetic, craziness to the calm, and stigma to the social. From mischief to mayhem, mourning to madness, creating the stories that Ylikaum will be talking about for years.

4. Recruit two new players, or hold a small guild event. Examples include: Meet the members, dueling competition, God/goddess worship session.

5. Recruit four more players, or hold a larger event. Examples: A public tournament, a PR meeting of TER, host the merchant market.

6. Come up with an epic RP storyline that involves characters in and outside the guild.

7. By now your character has credibility of some type (Good at settling disputes, a good healer, some unusual special ability that does not involve game mechanics).

8. Successfully mentor another Entertainer.
