Splitting creatures and categories

What do you think of the categorization that I set up with the first few articles? Category:Creature --Daevaorn 13:34, 28 December 2007 (EST)

Expanding the players' guide

You mentioned that there are additions on crafting planned for the players' guide. Are there concrete proposals yet? I'd like to start a section on that with basic metal working described. Would that be ok or is there someone else working on that elsewhere? --Daevaorn 08:54, 30 December 2007 (EST)

Speedy deletion and cat

There are few pages that I think can also be deleted:

*Talk:Players Policy
*Talk:Implemented Skills
*Talk:Stonebreaker_Language/Grammar/Adjectives
*Talk:Images

Another proposal: How about setting up a category to collect deletion-requests by a template. In Wikipedia they call that "request for speedy deletion". You put a template on the page saying "This page has been marked for deletion" (or similar) that template also automatically lists the requests in a category, let's say

:Category:SpeedyDeletion

. That way we can collect the requests until a sysop pops in and checks the category for work. --Daevaorn 09:28, 30 December 2007 (EST)

I created Template:Delete and Category:Marked for deletion for this purpose. --Daevaorn 08:45, 2 January 2008 (EST)

User:Tuxide/Sandbox

Can you please post the deleted contents on

User:Tuxide/Sandbox

onto my talk page? I don't remember what I was doing on there. Thanks, Tuxide 07:54, 4 January 2008 (EST)

Tutorial

20:19 (cur; last) . . Caarrie (Talk | contribs) (deleted "Tutorial": deleting unneeded redirected page)

Why do you think these redirects are unneeded? I think we should have back some of the other redirects aswell that were recently deleted. It is not the main purpose of a redirect to be used within other wiki articles. That's usually achieved by the alternative description syntax for links (something else). They make it much easier to find an article, and they cost (as good as) nothing.

It would be especially useful for the article Tutorial Walk Through to have a shortcut that can be typed more easily by advisors ingame.

http://pswiki.xordan.com/index.php/Tutorial

is complicated enough, why would we want to force people to use

http://pswiki.xordan.com/index.php/Tutorial_Walk_Through

instead? The longer version greatly increases the chance for unnecessary typos (lower case second and third word, forgetting to use underscore instead of blanks, ...)

I hope you take no offense, but I find your policy on that sector too restrictive. --Daevaorn 17:34, 6 January 2008 (EST)

I think *most* are not needed, but a simple search will turn up the same information, and most of the pages i deleted were due to the moving of the players guide as we had discussed. If you make me a list of pages you think should be returned along with reasons, I will consider restoring them.

Addition to MediaWiki:Monobook.css

#navbar
{
	position:absolute; z-index:1; border:none; background:none;
	right:12px; top:.3em; float:right; margin:0.0em;
	padding:0.0em; line-height:1.5em; text-align:right; text-indent:0;
	font-size:85%; text-transform:none; white-space:normal;
}

That's what is needed to implement a navigation bar on a fixed position in the upper right as discussed on IRC. --Daevaorn 08:49, 7 January 2008 (EST)
