Quakenet is the name of an IRC network, similar to [[Freenode]], but in Quakenet instead of the official PlaneShift channel (chatroom) there's a channel full of trolls. Their channel is also called planeshift, in order to trick newbies to visit it, and they even used to call it "official fan channel". Many of the trolls who bother PlaneShift players, developers, and harm PlaneShift's good reputation come from there. The same trolls who also continue to damage PlaneShift's article on Wikipedia. It is advised to stay clear of that hornets nest.
