Person versus Person is the fighting of a person against another person. This if often abbreviated to ''PvP''. In PlaneShift, it is generally a fight which has been accepted by both people. The only exceptions to this is when two guilds are at war. Then the members of one guild can attack the other guild's members without asking. There is also the PvP area, where anyone can freely attack anyone else. When someone kills another person, this is called ''PK'' (Person-Kill) or ''PKing'' (Person-Killing).
