How to Begin

To begin cooking, visit <name> in the kitchen of <building>, located in the center of Ojaveda. Speak with her and you will be allowed to begin the introductory cooking quest. The purpose of this quest is two fold: to familiarizing you with the basics of cooking, such as using the Preparation Table and tools, and to give you the novice's cooking book. This book, "Working in a Kitchen," must be equip in your mind slot during this quest; this may be done by opening up your inventory and dragging the book to the equipment slot that has a picture of a brain. There will be a later quest, given by the same lady, that will reward you with a more advanced cooking book.

Bug: You will be asked to grill meat on the grill, during the first cooking quest. The grills are the two cooking stations at the back of the kitchen. You will not be able left-click on them. You must directly right-click on them in order to interact with them.

Tools

There are many tools that chefs use, including the kitchen knife, masher, wooden spoon, and scoop. These tools are sold through multiple merchants. Only a few tools are located Ojaveda, and the more exotic ones, such as the rolling pin, are not even located in a city.

Measure one water filled bucket to create 28 water pouches.
Heat two water pouches to create one mug of hot water.
Heat seven water pouches to create one quarter pot of water.
Heat 14 water pouches to create one half pot of water.
Heat 21 water pouches to create one three quarter pot of water.

Sweet Tinga Tea

    • 1x Dash of Cinnamon
    • 1x Scoop of Strimptor
• Procedures
  1. Equip "Working in a Kitchen".
  2. Heat the two water pouches to create a mug of hot water.
  3. Combine the tinga leaves, mug of hot water, and dash of cinnamon to create a steeping tinga tea.
  4. Mix the steeping tinga tea to create tinga tea.
  5. Combine the tinga tea and a scoop of strimptor to create an unmixed tinga tea.
  6. Mix the unmixed tinga tea to create sweet tinga tea.
