Sorting

This category could do with some sorting - are we using .png, .gif or .jpg image formats? I only ask because there are a few ideograms that exist in two of them at the same time:

Okay, I (Ethryn) think we're almost there! If you look below, you'll see we still have a couple of images for which there are no .png equivalents.

Also, just as a matter of interest:

• Both 'BO' and 'BOD' mean 'dig'
• Both 'GEK' and 'GEIK' mean 'write'

If this is intentional, then that's fine. If not... I leave it up to you.

Otherwise, brilliant!

You see, several people created ideograms. Daevaorn created first and he used png. Several other authors used gif and jpeg. I converted their ideograms to png with transparent background. But their original jpeg and gif files still exist. There are no links to them from Klyros Vocabulary but they do exist in wiki - I cannot delete them. --Grigori 16:04, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

That's perfectly fine, and as long as everyone's clear. Also, for future reference, if you mark stuff to be deleted with the template {{delete|(Reason for deletion)}}, then it will be automatically flagged for deletion next time a sysop logs on. -- Ethryn 18:52, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

About similar meanings

BO means "to dig", moving soil for...planting? , BOD refers to extracting useful materials, "to mine". A bit stretched, perhaps. Also there's a subtle difference between GEK= write and GEIK=write one's thoughts. There was a specific need at the time of introduction, I guess. I'd say we could leave meanings unaltered, at least for now. --Boeven 02:30, 11 October 2012 (CEST)
