Mining is the ability to dig various natural resources out of the land. It is both physically and mentally exhausting.
How to
- Equip a rock pick (can be purchased from merchants)
- Search for a mine (or ask people in the game). Fholen Medraa in East Hydlaa is a good resource.
- Type in "/dig" or specifically "/dig iron" (or whatever you want to dig for). Alternatively, with the rock pick in hand, you can right click the area and left click the 'use equipped tool' icon that is displayed. Pay attention to your system chat window; if the message 'you don't see a good place to dig' shows, then you are not in a mine-able spot.
- Be patient: sometimes you have to dig very often in the same place in order to find an ore.
