CrystalSpace is a free open source 3D engine used by various applications and video game projects. The largest, most dedicated, and longest-running project using CrystalSpace as a 3D engine is PlaneShift. Although it has different pros and cons compared to other 3D engines, it is likely the best 3D engine for PlaneShift's special needs.
