catagories for npcs

When making a catagory please make sure it is correct for the npc you are putting it in. If you are not sure just leave the npc in the main catagory creature. From what i know we have no "humanoids" so you cant use that as a valid catagory. Also on the catagory pages please make a valid description of what it is and what should be there. One line is not enough.

Wild animals is not a catagory to every be accepted as an official title by settings, so please do not use that

Hello, Caarrie. This is work in progress. We decided to split up the contents of Creatures in to separate articles on every being. I wanted to create the articles first, then replace the original article with a listing that would link them all together and make them 'public'.

On the matter of categories I'd very much like input on how to categorize them with sense. I used "Wild Animal" as it was used as a heading of the exisiting list, so I thought that was official, since it had not been changed in quite some time. The Humanoid was indeed a makeshift because I found "malicious characters" which was the heading of that section not expressive and clear enough. I'd really like more input and a general discussion on a proper system of categorizing pages in here. Maybe we could open a separate talk page for this? --Daevaorn 05:04, 30 December 2007 (EST)

PPS: I've read the books on that matter, but "semi-intelligent creature" does not seem a better fitting category title to me, than "humanoid" when dealing whith Derghir and Gobbles who are even quest persons which requires more than semi intelligence in my understanding. --Daevaorn 05:41, 30 December 2007 (EST)

What you can do is make a post on the forum directed towards the settings devs, asking them these type of questions. I think they will be more then willing to answer as well as this will help other players to learn more about the creatures that are ingame. For now if you are not sure, just make one main catagory for all creatures and in time when you get the answers to the questions you can make the additional catagories, but remember i dont want a catagory that has 1 or 2 pages in it, if you see this often happening then just dont make the catagory and mention it on the creatures page. --Caarrie 06:46, 30 December 2007 (EST)

crafting guide

Right now there is no format for a crafting guide planned, if you want to start working on one go ahead. You can list what materials are needed and what items but DO NOT list where to find them.
